A big misconception about electric bikes is that they're all laid-back cruiser bikes, built to ride on boardwalks and nicely paved bike trails. I understand that technology is amazing and helps us to live better but, unless it is to go to work i prefer a regular bicycle to excercise.

Its not for everyone, just people that drive their cars most them time. If you already commute to work via bike 15+ miles a day on a none powered bike and arrive all energized on both ends, you don’t need an electric. However, only 1% of people in this country commute via bike, we are going for the other 99%
